Collection agency IC System ignored my settlement offer for its many illegal collection practices, including countless harassment phone calls.  How can anyone pay their bills when collectors continually call the business phone? I filed suit on June 12, 2008.

After Target refused to lower my interest rate due to data contained in my Experian credit report, I decided to stop paying the Target Visa card.  I since learned that the banks actually create most money they lend through accounting entries.  I hope to inspire many millions of judgment-proof consumers to stop paying their unsecured debt.

Juniper (Barclays) CLOSED my account due to my Trans Union credit report.  My credit was FLAWLESS.  I made my minimum payments until Barclays DECLINED my 12/21/07 request to reopen my account and to lower the interest rate.  I hope to encourage many millions of exploited judgment proof consumers worldwide to stop paying their unsecured debt.

In May 2007, Washington Mutual more than doubled my interest rate to 26% despite my flawless credit.  On 11/15/07, WaMu DECLINED my request for a lower interest rate and disclosed that it utilized FICO and internal credit scores to determine that I am a high credit risk.  Greedy vile bankers don’t deserve to get paid and I stopped paying this account.  Chase recently announced that it will no longer utilize credit report data to rate existing accounts.  What will it take to get WaMu to stop this vile practice?

Consumer activist Christine Baker sued Focus Receivables Management LLC and its collector James Hurd after he ignored her legitimate dispute, continued to collect and threatened to report a disputed DirecTV debt to the credit bureaus unless she paid the bogus $250 debt.  Focus denies that it violated the FDCPA and Ms. Baker now seeks a competent attorney to represent her.

Over the last month I documented that Fair Isaac sold myFICO reports with incorrect score factors to consumers, it ADDS entirely fictitious recent late payments to Equifax and Experian credit reports and it uses those late payments to artificially lower the FICO scores used by most creditors and required for mortgages.

The FACT Act of 2003 requires regulators to issue guidelines and regulations for creditors and collectors who report to credit bureaus to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information they furnish.  Despite the FCRA requirement to report “complete” account information, Capital One refuses to report the credit limits to make it more difficult for account holders to obtain credit from competitors.

Consumer advocate Christine Baker now seeks $5,000,000 in punitive damages because Verizon Wireless continues to misrepresent the disputed debt to the court as valid. The entire punitive damages award is to be used to establish a non profit consumer litigation organization to assist consumers with billing, credit and collection problems.

Rodrick Coffey with Stinson Morrison Hecker had my cancelled check and Verizon’s own documentation PROVING that I never owed the alleged debt, but he continued to state in his filings with the Arizona federal court that I owe Verizon $105.

Complaint to the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions, the licensing agency for First Magnus Financial Corporation dba Great Southwest Mortgage.  The junk faxes sent on behalf of First Magnus not only violated the TCPA, but also the Truth In Lending Act (TILA) as the advertised ARM terms were false.  The First Magnus payments for the mortgage leads constitute illegal kickbacks in violation of RESPA and I hope that Arizona will not condone these widespread illegal activities by mortgage brokers and bankers.
